Documentary filmmaker Amy Gerber captures her quest to uncover the life of her grandfather, Dr. Eduard Gerber, a scientist who worked for Nazi Germany during WWII. Following the war, Dr. Gerber was among more than 700 German scientists--including the rocket expert Wernher von Braun--brought to the United States as part of the classified program Operation Paperclip.
